dlc doesn't count cause that's the only reason why i think you find that part of my comment funny when was the last time they updated the build editor? tell me when was the last time a new UI update happen or even the physics to the game overall the core game hasn't changed and thats what am on about, all they done for the past now 6 years is change the title of the game in your steam libery add a package of always 3 dlc that has been already out for a while for new comers to buy the game with and lastly new menu picture, I really want to know why the laughter cause all the company does now with this game is some fixes to latest dlc not much of the old ones and adding new dlc, they just like to work on that world train game now days its the truth, maybe they pushed the game engine to its limits of what they can do after all it started it's life back in 2013 or even younger but as far as i know it started its life in 2013, but for real if so instead of re naming the game every year for the past 6 years would like a new stand alone one if it means we get improvements i would buy that, the core game just hasn't had a major update in a while still the same as it was back in 2015. "milking the game for dlcs" That's what i've been saying when they announced another re title, last major update that changed the game and well added inprovements to the game we turely had was back in 2015 also you only have to look how much it cost to buy every dlc to see how greedy they really are but, overall the whole community let this happen to the game trust me, people might joke about another re title to the game and buy the dlc's on sale but we haven't really showed the company out rage so we are just letting them get away with doing this to us, i do wonder when enough is enough for this community.Ībout performance yeah that's on you bud tho, you didn't say anything about you're cpu or memory cause even tho store page says min 4 gb of ram i played it on one stick of 8gb in the past and even that wasn't enough for the game to run nicely for me the min req is a lie in my eyes maybe this min was when the game launched and they haven't updated it cause should be played on 16gb and higher and yeah a beast gpu and good enough cpu to run this game without any problems as when i improved my memory to be a bit higher a lot of the game problems vanished there are still some left over but overall my game runs better on 16GB and less bugs showing and yeah stuttering going on. Even when someone is making good points and facts, they won't listen. They just copy/paste these arguments, thinking that DTG would notice, BUT THAT'S THE REASON WHY DTG BECAME SILENT!!!! They stopped communicating on Steam, because there is huge amount of idiots who are ignoring anything against their actions. They can't come up with better arguments other than 'DTG is greedy' 'Railworks and TS22 is the same thing' etc. It's sad how TrainSim community is split in half. United Kingdom is one of the more expensive countries in the world, and both Covid and the inflation makes it even worse. Since DTG is located in Chatham which is close to London.
Wages, taxes, licensing, servers, equipments, etc. And they have to pay for lots of things which can be very expensive! Yes Dovetail is a company with high number of employees.
Do you have a job, make money, do you feel that you are underpaid, are you greedy? Expect less and you won't be disappointed. They have employees, pay wages, and are there to make a living making games that you play. I don't know why you say greedy, maybe you expect too much. I have tested the game both on my GTX 1650 and GTX 1080TI and it stutters even on ssd. Dovetail devs are greedy and just milking the game for dlcs without fixing the issues with optmizations. The new Train sim 2022 update did not fix any bugs. We all know about the fps drops and freezing which occurs every 15-20 seconds.
